May he. It is a curse upon himself, if he should not be faithful to his promise. It. That is, revenge it upon David's enemies, and upon me, if I shall fail of my word given to him. (Challoner) The Hebrew and several Latin manuscripts stop at earth; and what follows, is not found in some Greek and Latin editions. (Calmet) Enemies.
