They bare Him witness that it was truly He, as He had said, of whom the prophet had spoken. Now that Christis called a Prophet in the Scriptures, Moses bears witness, saying, God shall raise up aProphet to you from among your brethren. Sidonia signifies a vain pursuit, Sarepta fire, or scarcity of bread.
